For most that I’ve been into, these types of websites also give you a page for your profile. In the website you found, make your profile as complete as possible – that is, fill out all information being asked which are applicable to you.

Freelancing marketplace is a good starting point; find projects, win new clients and gain experience as you get exposed to different tasks.
