This is driven by the contest at Freelancer.com which is to expose to the online community its new logo

My previous entry was a web application which utilizes Google Map API's. Freelancers and employers can use the application to mark their location on the map. The map marker is the hummingbird - Freelancer.com's new logo.

This time, I came up with the idea of an image (world map overlaid with the hummingbird logo) for tagging on facebook. My facebook friends can tag the image which shares the image to those tagged friends and those friends can do the same and so on and so forth... figure out how many will be able to learn about Freelancer.com

The contest prize money is $10,000 US!

The king of online freelancing market, GetAFreelancer, is now Freelancer.com with a new logo!

Freelancer.com members, through a contest, are encourage to promote the new logo. I joined the contest and my entry is a web application which utilizes Google map.

The world map got an overlay of freelancer.com logo and each member of Freelancer.com can mark their locations on the map. Smaller version of the logo is used as the map marker. When the marker is clicked, it shows the basic information about the member.

To mark the map, the freelancer.com username is required. Thus, it encourages non-members to join the 1 MILLION plus members of freelancer.com

If my entry wins the contest, I'll be receiving $10,000 US DOLLARS. Really nice prize money enough for me to be debt free!
